Inclusive Disability Programs
PCLC offers a variety of Social and Community Participation programs to meet the varying and diverse needs of our community.
Under the NDIS, Social and Community services are about supporting people with a disability to take part in their community.
Our programs aim to get you out and about, meeting new people, and trying new things.
Many of our programs are suited to NDIS participants, contact us to find out more.
This is a self-paced, fun, relaxed class that tailors to each individual learning needs. The fundamentals of painting and drawing are explored through creative expression and exploration.
Learn to use your digital devices such as smartphones, computers and tablet to connect with people and access essential services over the internet.
Learn to cook practical and healthy meals on a budget in a safe, engaging and fun environment. PCLC’s cooking classes provides ideas and hands-on experience in food preparation, food presentation and food appreciation.
Simple movements to improve muscle strength, fitness and flexibility. Focus is on increasing mobility and stability as well as improving mental health and making new friends. Now taking expressions of interest.
Our Intake Officer will discuss different funding options and the cost of the programs at your initial appointment, before you start a program.
Special consideration is available to people experiencing financial difficulty.

Some NDIS participants may self-manage the NDIS supports and services in their plan, or they might ask someone else to do it for them (a plan nominee), or they might use a registered plan manager.
Participants receiving supports and services under these options will be able to access supports or services from either registered or unregistered providers such as PCLC.
Social and Community Participation services are funded under one of the following in your NDIS plan:
- Core – Assistance with Social & Community Participation
- Capacity Building – Increased Social & Community Participation
