VCAL

VCAL Intermediate

This course is aimed at students aged 16-19 and is equivalent to Year 11. VCAL is a hands-on option delivered in a relaxed and open environment.

VCAL Intermediate Core Units:
• Literacy – Oracy – Numeracy
• Personal Development Skills (Units 1 & 2)
• Work Related Skills (Units 1 & 2)

VET Component – Vocational Education & Training:
To successfully complete the VCAL Intermediate Certificate all students must undertake a VET component. Students must complete a minimum of 300 hours VET. This course allows flexibility to incorporate a VET course that meets the student’s needs. At Intermediate level, the Certificate is aimed at Certificate III level.

Prahran Community Learning Centre delivers the Certificate II and III in Business Administration and Certificate II & III in Visual Art and as part of its VCAL program.

All VET courses are nationally recognised accredited courses.

Cost: $100 per 10 week term

VCAL Senior
