Angela Stathopoulos

Principal Executive Officer – PEO

Angela holds qualifications in Education and Training, TESOL, Student Welfare, and Business Management, and has a strong interest in accessible community education options for vulnerable people. Angela is the Chairperson of the Inner Eastern Local Learning and Employment Network and has recently been elected onto the State-wide Chairs Leadership Group for the LLEN network. Angela is an innovative Principal Executive Officer with many years of management experience in community education centres and alternative school settings. Angela aims to champion organisational innovation and evaluate and improve PCLCs innovative capability by facilitating innovation in our Centre.

Effie Senese

Education Manager

Effie’s role encompasses direction, advocacy, management, development & assessment of all accredited PCLC programs. Effie spends a large amount of time strengthening structures, resources and skills to successfully implement & meet the standards of VRQA, and comply with AQTF & VRQA guidelines for VET providers. Effie has extensive and varied experience in working with youth and adult learners combined with several years of management experience.
Effie manages PCLCs RTO registration including Youth (YELLA, VCAL & VET), accredited Art & English courses.  Effie’s qualifications include Vocational Education & Training, Training Design & Development, Business Management & Youth Work.

Rudie Janusauskas

Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator / Executive Assistant

Rudie is a graduate of Community Services, Community Development and Community Welfare.  Rudie came to PCLC in a student placement position as a requirement for his studies and has since been employed as the Diversity and Inclusion coordinator. Rudie’s role is focused on completing the Rainbow Tick Accreditation process which involves bringing PCLC up to date with the current Australian standards for LGBTIQ+ diverse & Inclusive practices.

Jackie Mulliss

Administration/Programs Coordinator

Jackie has several years’ experience in Business Administration, working in schools and a private RTO. Jackie has worked in the Community sector working with unemployed, disengaged youth, street workers and with Women on Community Based Orders. Jackie has qualifications in Business and Alcohol and Other Drugs Work.

Tina Tsanglis

Finance Officer

Tina’s qualifications include Admin studies, including various client support services. Tina’s ‘can-do’ attitude and years of experience within the finance and administration areas, ensures the smooth operation and assistance of the PCLC finances and provides administrative support to the Principal Executive Officer.


Heather Donchi

Student Support Aide

Heather’s role is to provide additional educational support to YELLA and VCAL students, as well as providing individual tutoring. She has an Advanced Diploma of Art Therapy and was been involved with the Education Department for over 16 years both in Integration and Administration before coming to PCLC. Heather has an upbeat friendly personality and provides a caring, supporting environment for the students and staff she works with.

Tony Senese

Children, Youth, Adult & Integrated Art Teacher

Tony is a graduate of Fine Arts – Painting & Sculpture and a self–commissioned multi-award winning artist. Tony has also won the 2014 Victorian Learn Local “MOST OUTSTANDING PRACTITIONER AWARD” and in 2013 the Inner Eastern LLEN “TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD”. Tony is a passionate and highly creative & energetic teacher who facilitates the After School Kids, Youth, Adult and integrated programs at PCLC. Tony is in constant demand for his painting, drawing and sculpture abilities. With several years’ experience, Tony has a clear understanding of what is required in teaching art effectively, whilst providing a fun, inviting and safe learning environment.

Lance Twentyman

English (ESL) Teacher

Lance is a graduate of Education, specialising in English studies. Lance is an experienced international teacher who is able to adapt to any situation. Lance’s reassuring, encouraging nature and natural bearing in his class room always ensures a fun learning environment. Lance teaches beginners-intermediate English for adult learners.

Amelie Scalercio

Youth Teacher

Amelie is a graduate of Fine Arts and Education. Amelie has extensive experience in working with youth and has a clear understanding of what is required in teaching at risk / disengaged youth, and does this effectively and innovatively. Amelie teaches in the VCAL programs at PCLC.

Christy Buehlmann

Youth Teacher

Christy’s accreditation include a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is a reading specialist and holds a Certificate IV in ESL and Training and Assessment, and who is currently teaching VCAL to our Senior and Intermediate students. Christy has delivered educational curriculum through integration, team teaching and small group settings in Secondary and TAFE schools. Her passion is to inspire disengaged youth by providing a safe, hands-on, alternative experience to learning.

John Broughton


John has many years’ experience in small business bookkeeping as well as managing PCLCs finances.

Phil Brandon

Information Technology

Phil has been maintaining the organisations Information Technology needs for many years. His attention to detail and prompt service ensures that PCLC is always technologically up-to-date & functional.

Tom Moloney

Computers (Integrated) / Budget Cooking Facilitator

Tom is a long term Stonnington resident with a passion for social justice. Tom provides a valuable program teaching computer skills for people who are ability impaired. Tom also facilitates the budget cooking classes at PCLC. His teaching involves basic skills to foster independence amongst his cohort of students.


Louise Kyle

Yoga Instructor

Louise clearly delights in sharing the many powerful benefits of yoga. She has practised yoga for over 30 years while also working in social justice and education. Louise has a particular interest in gentle yoga for people who are more reticent about physical movement due to injury, lack of fitness or a perception that yoga is not for them.


Grace Luchow

Occasional Childcare Room Leader

Grace believes open ended, child lead, play based approach is a great facilitator in children’s learning and developing a great sense of wellbeing, identity, communication, learning and development. Grace facilitates Occasional Childcare at PCLC and welcomes new families to the program.


Arpitha Shankaranarayanabhat

Occasional Childcare Assistant

Arpitha works to assist the Occasional Childcare Room Leader on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 9.30am-2.30pm. Arpitha is passionate about the literature, stories, articles and poems in her native language. Arpitha really loves working with children and believes it makes us more creative and optimistic, which helps us to grow with joy.


Dante Mecca

Art Assistant

Dante is a long term community volunteer. He is an integral part of the integrated art class and has become a permanent fixture in the program! Dante also volunteers his time at other community organisations. He is a much loved member of the community.
